DPR Ratifies Revision of Uu Kpk Despite Reaping Rejection
The DPR accelerated the plenary session to make a decision on the Job Creation Omnibus Law Bill, today. The decision-making meeting on the Job Creation Bill was originally scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 8.
The plenary session, which took place on Monday afternoon, was attended by 318 of the 575 council members. The Job Creation Bill is a massive cut to a number of laws with the aim of simplifying licensing and investment. However, the Job Creation Bill has sparked polemics because it is considered to be detrimental to workers.
