DPR Calls Anies Baswedan, Ridwan Kamil, and Wahidin Halim regarding the handling of floods
The meeting which should have been attended by three governors, Jakarta, Banten and West Java was postponed.
The meeting, which began at around 10 o'clock, was started with a presentation from the Minister of PUPR, Basuki Hadimulyono.
But when representatives from the invited provinces began to speak, members of Commission V filed many interruptions, until finally the meeting was postponed.
The meeting will discuss the problem of flooding which in recent times occurred in Jabotabek.
As well as to formulate a joint solution in overcoming it.
Meanwhile, DPR Commission V member Syarief Abdullah Alkadrie said West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil and Banten Governor Wahidin Halim were also invited.
But Syarief admitted that he could not confirm whether Anies and Ridwan Kamil-Wahidin Halim were present.
"We invite it. Regarding the problem of flooding how comprehensively so that the synergy between the center, DKI, Banten and West Java. We should not blame DKI, blame Banten or blame West Java. This is also the responsibility of the central government regarding this issue," said Syarief.
A number of areas in Jabodetabek were flooded on Tuesday (25/2) yesterday.
