Allegedly Provocateur of Job Creation Law Demonstration, Police Detain Our Top Officials
The three of them were detained along with 5 members of the KAMI Medan network, North Sumatra who were arrested from 9 to 12 October.
Eight figures and the KAMI Jakarta and Medan network are suspected of violating the ITE Law in connection with the demonstration against the Job Creation Law.
The new police will release the case that ensnares the suspects on Thursday (15/10).
The KAMI Executive Committee, last Tuesday (13/10) immediately provided legal assistance to the detained KAMI figures.
The coordinator of the KAMI advocacy team, Abdullah Alkatiri, urged the police to immediately reveal the articles and evidence of the allegations against our detained figures.
Previously, the police also arrested residents of the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi regarding alleged hoaxes about the Job Creation Law on social media.
