In Ecuador, 'Street Full of Corps' due to the Plague of the Corona Virus - BBC News Indonesia

Guayas Province, Ecuador, became the center of Pandemi Covid-19 in Latin America. In Guayaquil, the largest city in Ecuador, the corpse was placed on the road because the morgue and the burial area were overwhelmed by the high mortality rate.

The public cemeteries there collapsed in the middle of the pandemic. No longer available coffin, so many corpses are buried using cardboard.

The local government even had to send a body to be buried in a neighboring city.

The picture that occurs in Guayaquil is similar to what is often displayed in horror films. Many bodies were placed on the side of the road and waited for days before being taken care of.

"My parents died yesterday. Help me, see their condition," said one resident while showing the bodies of both parents wrapped in cloth and laid in front of the house.
