Covid-19: Delta variants continue to invade, Countries in Southeast Asia are overwhelmed-BBC News Indonesia

Covid-19 Delta variants cause a surge in cases in Southeast Asia.

In Indonesia, cases have increased rapidly which impacts on increasing mortality. Data on Thursday (07/08), Indonesia recorded more than 500 deaths per day.

On the other hand, oxygen supply continues to run low and residents must self -help looking for oxygen for the sake of families who are receiving treatment.

Thailand, who previously successfully overcome the first wave of Pandemi Covid-19, is now overwhelmed.

The hospital is filled with patients and positive cases are much faster than the number of residents who are full.

Public anger also increased because the government was considered to have failed to stem the spread of new variants.

As for Malaysia, one of the countries in Southeast Asia with the highest vaccination rate, is also unable to bear the continuous quarantine. Residents began to fly the white flag, a sign of surrender and asking for help.
