How to Use One Printer to Share on a Network
(Printer Sharing)

A. ON THE SERVER SIDE
(On a computer directly connected to the printer)

1. Click "Start" then click "Devices and Printers"
2. Right click on the printer you want to share, then click "Printer Properties"
3. Click the "Sharing" tab then check the "Share this printer" option then click OK


B. ON THE CLIENT SIDE

1. Click "Start" then click "Devices and Printers"
2. Click "Add a printer" then select "Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer"
3. Click "The printer that I want isn't listed", then select "Select a shared printer by name".
4. In the dialog box below, type "\\" followed by the IP Address of the computer that is directly connected to the printer (server), then type "\" again. Then the name of the printer in question will appear. Just click on the printer, then click "Next" and so on until finished.
