In the aftermath of the disbandment of the 1812 Action, Two Policemen were stabbed and slashed with sharp weapons
Meanwhile, 28 people were declared reactive from the rapid results of Covid-19.
Of the 7 people who have been named as suspects and detained by Polda Metro Jaya, 5 people were named suspects because they were carrying sharp weapons and 2 other people were carrying drugs.
Not only 7 people were named as suspects, the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya stated that 28 people were declared reactive to Covid 19.
Demonstrators who were declared reactive to Covid-19 are now being treated at the Athlete's House to undergo a swab test to determine whether they have been exposed to Covid-19 or not.
Previously, the police broke up the 1812 Demo on Friday (19/12) which was demonstrating around the Palace Area.
During the dispersal, 2 police officers were injured by sharp weapons from the demonstrators.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus stated that two police personnel were slashed while dispersing the crowd around the Governor's Office.
Apart from arresting a number of 1812 demonstrators, the police also found an ambulance and a minibus containing logistical supplies allegedly prepared for the demonstrators.
Apart from food and soft drinks in the car, police also found a stretcher.
