The earthquake again shook Indonesian territory. In the BMKG report, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 occurred at around 7:50 WIB, in Sukabumi, West Java, Thursday (12/08/2022).
BMKG Geophysics Deputy, Suko Prayitno Adi explained the earthquake that occurred in the Sukabumi region was preceded by an M5.8 earthquake with a depth of 122km which was a type of Intrasclab earthquake due to the Indo-Australian Plate activity activity
