In contrast to the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief, the National Narcotics Agency says the Langkat Regent's Prison is not a place for drug rehabilitation

BNN Langkat emphasized that the cage in the regent's house was illegal and not a place for rehabilitation of drug patients. The BNN's opinion differs from the North Sumatra Police's statement which said it was a rehabilitation location for drug addicts. The North Sumatra Police Chief said the prison was a place for drug rehabilitation for 10 years. However, BNN Langkat never gave permission.

BNN will also examine and prove whether it is true that the cage occupants are drug addicts. There are 30 people living in cages in the regent's house. However, on Tuesday (25/1) only 2 people were questioned by BNN.
