Many organizations resign in the Ministry of Education and Culture Mobilization Program, Observer: Unclear vision and mission
This program is said to be part of the vision and mission titled "Merdeka Learning" which was initiated by the Minister of Education and Culture of Nadiem Makariem.
Nadiem also provides funds of Rp. 595 billion per year to be shared with community organizations that qualify as facilitators of this program.
Funds disbursed are divided into three categories namely Gajah with a grant of Rp 20 billion per year, Macan received funds of Rp 5 billion per year, and Kijang received a grant of Rp 1 billion per year.
The Ministry of Education and Culture's operational program was then responded to by a number of circles, ranging from education -based organizations to politicians.
Like the Association of Teachers of the Republic of Indonesia (PGRI) which states to resign from this program.
The Chairperson of the 21st PGRI PBRI Didi Suprijadi said that the Minister of Education and Culture should prioritize education-based community organizations for the driving operation program.
Didi believes what the Ministry of Education and Culture needs is a teacher who can only be obtained from mass organizations and educational professions.
"Because after all, the Ministry of Education and Culture does not have teachers. Teachers are in the local government and the provincial government. Who wants to move education in Indonesia if not teachers? The one who has teachers turns out to be mass organizations," he said.
Previously the Primary and Secondary Education Council of Muhammadiyah Central Leadership and Ma'arif Nahdlatul Ulama Educational Institute which was included in the Elephant Category had also resigned from the Mover Organization Program.
The resignation of these two institutions was due to the selection and determination criteria for participants was considered unclear.
And there is no transparency in the selection process so that a number of CSR CSR and Private Company CSR programs that do not have credibility in the field of education pass the selection.
