Wayward! Apparently the Chinese ship is still in Natuna, expelled by the TNI

This is when the KRI crew expelled the Chinese ship from Natuna waters. Three KRIs escorted a number of foreign ships out of the Indonesian EEZ border. This drive is focused on dozens of fishing boats that are still in the outer limits of the EEZ.

The position on Saturday, January 11 2020, of a number of Chinese ships was 180 miles from the coast of Ranai Natuna. Three KRIs, namely KRI Usman Harun, KRI John Lie and KRI Satsuit Tubun coordinated with Pangkogabwilhan 1 to convey warnings to foreign ships.

Pangkogabwilhan 1 reminded Chinese ships to obey the applicable regulations.

Pangkogabwilhan 1 Vice Admiral Yudo Margono explained that 3 KRIs had entered the formation of Chinese fishing vessels which were still being escorted by their coast guard. Pangkogabwilhan 1 emphasized direct communication, not only about the expulsion but also explaining to the coast guard commander that they must understand the law, they must understand international maritime law.

On Saturday, January 11 2020, the TNI again saw the presence of Chinese fishing boats escorted by their Coast Guard vessels still in the Indonesian EEZ area around the Natuna waters. In fact, previously, the TNI claimed that there were no longer any foreign fishing boats in Natuna.
