Saudi Arabia announces that Eid al-Fitr 2022 will fall on Monday 2 May
The Royal Court of Saudi Arabia, based on a report by the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia, said on Saturday (30/4/2022) that Sunday (1/5/2022) would be the last day of the holy month of Ramadan and Monday would be the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
The Supreme Court said that according to testimony from experts on Saturday, the month of Shawwal was not visible.
