Al Zaytun Hot, Mahfud Urges to Finish Immediately | Akim Tvone
The polemic that befell the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School led by Panji Gumilang became increasingly heated after a series of controversies that occurred at the Islamic Boarding School.
Various controversies started to emerge after a video went viral during the Eid al-Fitr 1444 H prayer service yesterday where the prayer rows were mixed between women and men. Starting from there, one by one controversies regarding the way of worship that occurred at Al Zaytun began to surface.
There is a historical connection between Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School and NII, but they cannot yet be charged with terrorism. Panji Gumilang's courage had not yet run out, he sued the MUI "antagonist" for a fantastic nominal amount.

Most recently, the West Java Provincial Government Investigation Team received a report about the existence of a weapons bunker and a Jewish place of worship at the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School. The news came in when the team carried out an inspection of Panji Gumilang at Gedung Sate, Bandung.
The West Java Provincial Government Investigation Team is still unable to validate this news. The Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School case has now been handled by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs and the National Police Headquarters.
