8 Countries Willing to Help Indonesia Handle the Corona Virus

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi stated that many other countries have offered assistance to Indonesia in dealing with the corona virus or covid-19. So far, Indonesia has received 52 international aid, 8 of which are aid from governments of other countries.

"From the data we have, the countries that have helped include Japan, America, Singapore, China, Vietnam, South Korea, Australia and the United Arab Emirates," said Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi in a virtual meeting with DPR Commission I, Tuesday (7/4/2020).\

The Minister of Foreign Affairs also detailed the form of assistance provided. According to Retno, the assistance is mostly in the form of medical equipment and disinfectants.

"Aid is usually related to medical equipment. Some are masks, some are test kits, some are PPE, and some are ventilators, sanitizers and so on, disinfectant sprays, and so on," said Retno.
