4 Hajj Health Workers from Sumenep Positive for Covid-19
This was conveyed directly by the Regent of Sumenep, A. Busyro Karim accompanied by the local Forkopimda staff.
The Regent of Sumenep explained that the 4 Indonesian Hajj Health Team or TKHI officers who tested positive for 19 were 3 males and 1 female.
They were declared positive for Covid-19 after the PCR swab test results came out on Friday (24/04). They were then isolated at Dr. Hospital. Mohammad Anwar Sumenep. Previously they had OTG status or people without symptoms so they carried out their activities as usual.
The government will then monitor the 3 sub-districts where their activities take place, namely Rubaru, Saronggi and Sumenep City. The government will also carry out rapid tests on all officers and ASN in the work environment of the four Covid-19 patients.
Apart from these 4 people, there are still 5 other people, who also took part in the Indonesian Hajj Health Team or TKHI training in mid-March at the Sukolilo Haji Dormitory, Surabaya. The five came from elements of the Ministry of Religion Office and the Sumenep District Health Service. However, all five were declared negative for Covid-19.
