3 Foreign Ships from Vietnam Arrested in the Natuna Sea

The entry of foreign ships to steal fish in Indonesian waters is still in the spotlight. Three foreign fishing vessels from Vietnam were arrested by a monitoring vessel from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in Natuna waters.

What is shown in this video is an arrest attempt carried out by a fisheries monitoring vessel from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. This foreign ship from Vietnam had time to maneuver before being captured. This arrest was made by a KKP monitoring vessel at the end of last December.
The Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries appreciated the arrest of three foreign fishing vessels in North Natuna Waters.

This was conveyed by the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Edhy Prabowo, when inspecting foreign ships that had docked in Pontianak, West Kalimantan.

Edhy Prabowo stated that during the arrest attempt, three fishing boats carried a total of 36 crew members. Arresting foreign fishing vessels as an effort to uphold sovereignty in Indonesian waters.
