2 More Indonesian Citizens Test Positive for Corona, Indonesia Now Records 4 Patients
Yurianto said that the four people had had direct contact with one of the positive patients with the corona virus who was currently being treated at RSPI Sulianti Saroso, Jakarta.
"So those in close contact have been observed in hospital. Four are strongly suspected to be positive," said Achmad Yurianto at the President's Office, State Palace Complex, Jakarta, Friday (6/3/2020).
The Secretary of the Directorate General of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) of the Ministry of Health said, although these four people are suspected of being infected with the coronavirus, the results are still waiting for lab tests.
He said that the four suspects were positive for corona because they were experiencing influenza or flu symptoms.
"Because we believe he had close contact with cases 1 and 2 (positive for the corona virus, ed). Moreover, these four people had signs of moderate influenza," he said.
Yurianto added that the four suspects for the corona virus were the results of searches for people who had had direct contact with case 1 or case 2 positive Covid-19 patients.
"But not all of them were tested for the virus because they were not in close contact, only at the same event," he explained. (Tribunnews.com)
