2 Faces of New Suspects, Moge Members Who Beaten the TNI in Bukittinggi
They are members of the Harley Davidson Owners Group Siliwangi Bandung Chapter so there are now four suspects in this case.
The determination of the two new suspects was based on CCTV footage at the location of the beating and the statements of a number of witnesses.
"There are additional new suspects, namely HS, who is usually called A, 48 years old and the second is JA, who is usually called D, 26 years old, both of whom come from Bandung," said Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Police, Kombes Satake Bayu.
They were proven to have joined in beating the victim when the beating occurred last Friday (30/10/2020).
Four suspects in the beating were detained at the Bukittinggi Police Headquarters.
The beating of TNI soldiers by moge members from Bandung was caused by a misunderstanding.
According to the chairman of the motorbike club group in the convoy, the busy road conditions caused his members' motorbikes to collide with the motorbikes of two TNI soldiers and they fell.
However, last Friday's incident was resolved peacefully.
The Moge Club from Bandung crossed Bukittinggi as part of a tour with the goal of the zero kilometer monument in Sabang, Aceh.
