15 Positive Corona Patients in East Java, Governor Khofifah Declares Covid-19 Disaster Emergency Status
Government Spokesperson for Handling Corona Cases, Achmad Yurianto announced that the total number of patients infected with Corona in Indonesia is currently 369 people.
The number of corona patients who have recovered is recorded at 17 people, while 32 people have died.
Efforts to prevent the further spread of corona are also being carried out at the Regional Government level.
The Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa declared an emergency status for the disease due to Covid-19.
This is because positive corona patients are increasing, followed by an increasing number of residents who have lost their livelihoods and whose basic needs are also affected.
Currently, the East Java Provincial Government is building synergy with a number of bodies and institutions including the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI).
Medical personnel as many as 152 Lung Doctors and Infectious Disease Teams have been prepared as well as 62 hospitals which are also collaborating with hospitals belonging to the TNI/Polri and BUMN.
The Governor of East Java, Khofifah also said that there were 15 Corona Positive Patients in East Java, consisting of 13 patients in Surabaya and 2 patients in Malang.
The East Java Provincial Government also continues to prepare basic necessities and logistics to be distributed to a number of points in East Java Province.
